Japanese Hair Straightening
Do you struggle with frizzy, curly, or unruly hair? Do you spend a lot of time trying to achieve a sleek, straight look, only to have your curls revert in the slightest bit of humidity? We have specialized in the Japanese hair straightening method for 20+ years. We have served thousands of clients of all different textures. We know it’s the most effective and permanent hair straightening method on the market. It is the most popular choice for those who want straight hair that resists frizz even in the worst humidity. This chemical hair treatment will give you the most guaranteed straight results.
The process works by using a Thioglycolate solution by Milbon, Liscio. It breaks down the hair’s disulfide bonds, allowing us to reshape it. We then rinse and meticulously flat-iron the hair into the new shape and finally seal it into the new form with a neutralizing solution. This is a 3-4 hour tedious, labor-intensive service that requires a lot of experience and knowledge to do, and the results are worth it! Most clients will have this process done just twice a year to maintain the demarcation line from ever being noticed. Very little daily maintenance is required to keep the hair looking perfect. Also, because less heat will be used daily, the hair grows faster and is healthier.
So… if your hair is in healthy condition and you are looking for a life-changing solution to the daily struggles of blow drying and flat ironing your locks, Japanese Hair Straightening is for you.
Call the salon for an in-depth hair consultation to find out if you’re a good candidate for this service. Our resident expert and the team would love to meet you!
