great for minimally processed healthy hair. The service will leave your hair silky straight
and smooth. And is excellent at repelling frizz. It is a great option for most hair textures.
Commonly asked questions about Japanese Straightening
1) How often do you need to come back to get the process retouched?
Most client will see approximately 3 inches of new growth after 6 months and require a
touch up at that time, many longer hair clients or less curly textures can usually last up to a year,
before a retouch is necessary.
2) Can I do color/henna and or bleach highlights if I have this treatment done?
Virgen hair or minimally processed color treated hair are the best clients for this service.
Hair with Bleach highlights applied prior to the treatment is not usually recommended. This hair
can easily over process during the process, while the unbleached hair is usually under
processed and left wavy, a consultation is required. * No Henna and No Sodium Hydroxide perms
3) How much does the process cost?
The price is determined by hair length and thickness. It will usually range from $350- for shorter
hair and up to $450 for much longer or thicker hair. In certain situations, the price could be more
or less. Touch-up treatments are the same price.
4) How much experience does Jade Salon of Atlanta have?

5) Will my hair be too flat once done?
If your hair is fine or has low density it can be too straight for some clients. You can always add
curl or volume with a brush or hot tool.
6) How long does the process take?
The process will normally take about 3 ½ -4 ½ hours.
7) Does the product contain or emit any formaldehyde fumes?
No it does not contain nor emit formaldehyde. It is made from a thioglycolate ingredient.
